 A half green apple, with two sources of light (one incadescent from behind, one green spot directly to the cut front), shot in RAW, converted with ACR (with more contrast and saturation, playing with WB and tint), unsharp mask,brightness and contrast in PS. Resizing and upload...

Doesn't hold interest - perhaps if the cut side had some texture and the neon green was a raking light or going with the radiating them - you need more space on the left and less on the right

To me the radiation colour green and the apple colour green are fighting. It's a bit to much for my taste, though it's a good photo. 7

It's green but it's certainly not appetizing, which I know wasn't the criteria but hey it is food.

While this meets the criteria and is a cool idea, this makes my eyes burn because the two greens clash.

The green, to me, just looks "strange"; I don't find the photograph appealing.
