First Impression - the most important one: Interesting picture for a challenge called heat.
Composition: Te placements in the frame are intriquing .. but they work. I think that te lighting has helped in maintaining the placement of the vase, and working with the flowers having them more lit on one side than the other.
Subject: Yout scored suffered the DNMC vote ... but you still scored well.
Technical (Colour and light): I like this although it is in some ways a little harsh. Considering for the feature about how to sprinkle some light across perhaps using a white or silver reflector to pull a little more from the rest of the picture.
To grow its vote?: meeting the challenge in a traditional way would increase the vote. Moving away from the blue into a warm colour also may have worked.
Summary: lovely image .. keep it up.
