I think the window, while acting as a natural frame, is very harsh. It also is crooked which distracts a bit. It looks like it's a result of your perspective though and not holding the camera crooked. Nevertheless, people hate angled lines near the edge of the frame. The inside is interesting, but also lacks any specific subject. Our eye wanders around trying to latch onto something. We are constantly drawn to the white frame which keeps us from finding a subject even more. The two things my eye is drawn to is the foam (not too appealing) and the diagonal slats (but I don't know what they are because it's too dark).

Nice title and composition. I would like to see this in color. Perhaps the charred wood would stand out more in contrast to some colors.

Your title choice pulls this one down a bit. I normally ignore titles, but I read this one since it wasn't immediately obvious what it was. It pulls it down since the fire is indeed out, it was just extinguished a lot too late. Nice idea, but the darkness of the charred interior makes is difficult to understand.

but isn't the fire out?

I'd say the fire was put out successfully.
