Good contrast between the bee and leaves. I almost think a horizontal framing would work better. That way, you would still have space around the bug, but wouldn't clip his wing in the crop.

Almost perfect, many, many macro shots this week lack definition of field. Of them, this is the better shot. Very clear head shot, but goes down hill from there. 7 Swash

The focus isnt very tight on this ... you might try a little more DOF and that would allow more to be in focus in the pic.

i like the detail... but I've seen too many close ups of insects

this a really cool insect shot. how did you do that? the only bugs I ever see are mosquitos and I'm too busy swatting them to take pictures. Nice colors, and nice composition. A slightly larger depth of field might have helped just a tad.

I'm sure you know this, but the wasp could be a bit sharper. That's really my only criticism.
