 Wow, what I could do with this IF I could edit it!

I quite liked this shot as soon as I saw it, and actually did edit it before I considered it suitable for The Past.

Although I could have done sepia or b&w in-camera, I really wanted to challenge myself with a colour shot. I feel I may as well have edited it in Photoshop as use in-camera editing..

I'm hoping the text being indecipherable opens it up to people's intepretations, which I'm hoping saves it a little from not meeting the challenge perfectly (and as well as other submissions).

Interesting perspective, great lighting and composition. Hard to tell this relates to the past, though. I'm sure you understood it when you were there, but there isn't enough here.

In and of itself, I don;t find this to be a very interesting photo...I cannot see how it fits the challenge either, sorry

Very nice, but I wish there were more to read. As it is, I'm just dependent on the title to know what the picture's about.

I can't tell if the green striping is from the camera or just part of the stone. Interesting lighting with the flare in the top left to the darker area in the bottom right.

It took me a minute to figure out this was a headstone. That's what it is, right? I see Wife of Willis. Very cool!! You've just got bumped up in score from me.

one of my favorites. gives another meaning to *depth* of field! lovely composition and a real sense of past and permanence. nice :)

I like this very much. I only would of liked the top 1/3 trimmed off. Good shot, good clear, clean shooting.
