*Critique Club* I am bored and decided why not do a few critiques. Well I pull an image and it is this one. Such a great image is so hard to critique.
On technical merit there is really nothing I can add. I think the lighting is perfect. I love the colors and the focus is spot on. The wall really adds a lot to this and I really love the texture of it. The expression you have caught is IMO a perfect one also. You are really radiating happiness throughout this image.
I kinda wonder what you are looking at but that doesn't matter.
The only thing that really bothers me is the glare on the watch. But that is minor.
This is one of my favorites so far. The slight bit of yellow at the bottom helps add just a bit of brightness. The lighting and pose are both excellent. I wish the wrist watch was taken off, however. The background wall gives good texture and depth to the shot. Well done!
I get a sense of a quotidian, fun sort of enlightenment, like suddenly realizing you've got a beer left in the fridge. Nice expression, nice use of light. 7.
I like how this is dark but still portrays a happy feeling with the great smile and the splash of yellow flowers. Nice lighting and the texture of the backround adds a nice touch. 9
Great use of lighting and exposure. The decay of the background and the life brought to the image by the flowers in the forground really give a sence of enlightenment.
Good Job
I love the backdrop with dandelions and the dramatic lighting;great colors and well done green. but what is with that huge watch on the old wrist? very distracting.
