My wife had started this little Ivy cutting, and as it sat in the window, you could tell it was striving to get more light. I tried to capture the feeling of that struggle for life. Taken with flourecent lighting, and tripod.

Very effective lighting. The neg space acts both to frame the subject, but also implies that the plant can reach even outside the frame and into its own mysterious world.
