That is one very still fisherman. This is my favorite of the challenge (I am not a big fan of cityscapes). The simple lines, subtle horizon line and wonderful color make it. You may want to check out Michael Kennan's website. He is a acclaimed photographer that does amazing night exposures for hours. Your shot here is evocative of his work. |

I like the simple blue cast combined with the simple composition. The jetty really draws your eye to the fisherman figure. Nice job! |

I would have either cloned out, or cropped out the distracting spots on the left of the image. Otherwise, it's perfect. I especially like the negative space of the upper image and how it contrasts, yet compliments the subject. Well done! |

I think the overall darkness of the picture and the distance of the subject work against each other here. If the pic had been a little lighter, you could have gotten away easier with the tiny person - the the challenge subject of Night Shot mitigated against lightening the pic. So I'd have probably gotten closer and emphasized the subject a bit more. Tough call. The deep blue and black tones are very nice. |

The blue has blinded me. Now I'll have to calibrate my eyes ;-) Nice, but do something about the blue color. Too much and too bright. |

The color here jumps off the screen! Cropping a bit off the top and right would probably make the fisherman more of a subject. |
