This should've won. Great shot and the title IS three words followed by an appropriate subtitle. Anyhoo, you know deep down that this image is a whole lot of awesome.

Well.. apparently you *could* make a three word title into an 8 word title and get away with it.
lol.

Ha! Maybe not for the dpc crowd, but I sure like it. Great sensation of motion and the oversaturation works for me.

Too bad it's not in a movie poster orientation! Nicely done. Best 'busy' shot I've seen in a long time. All the elements appear to fit the theme of the challenge nicely!

uh oh, is that motion blur? I give you the benefit of the doubt, of course. And ashamedly I have to admit that this is probably the first movie I'd go see out of all of them so far.

I like this one a lot, but I'm not sure about how you created the background. It looks like you used 2 photos, but I'm not sure. Pity you didn't use just the 3 words as required. Guess some people would vote you down for that, I won't.

Great image! Unmistakeably a poster image (though your title is not quite in keeping with the challenge!).

Þessi lítur út eins og klippa af þremur myndum, átt pottþétt eftir að fá beiðni um að senda orginal mynd til að sanna löglega mynd.
Mjög flott mynd hjá þér 10 frá mér.

Way more than a 3 word title!!!

05/08/2006 10:05:24 AM
haha, I like it, but I bet you are getting hammered for the extra words in the title and the landscape orientation.

This is great - good job on the detail and I love how the background is out of focus but shows the people in the background. Nice picture!

Definitely has that in your face aspect that is quite common with movie posters. Btw, I assume this is Steiner. If it is I think you would have been better served going with a remake of this shot "Learn to be nice, not nasty". That one just screams LucasFilms to me.
