First impressions: A very nice picture that has been well taken by someone who clearly knows how to use their camera to get the best result out of it. The title you gave the photograph seems oddly fitting and slightly sinister, which brings the viewer further into the image.

I'll start with the compilation and elements seen in this picture before I go into anything technical. You seemed to pick a perfect time of day to take this photograph with the fewest people and you've done a really good job at keeping the horizon level, giving a perfect reflection of the buildings. There isn't a lot to be improved.

As for the technical elements, you've certainly got to grips with using the settings on your camera to give a nice photo. The depth of field is perfect keeping everything in focus and there are minimal unwanted reflections and shadows. Again, not much to be said, the picture is technically sound.

It's hard to see why this photo didn't go much further really. I think that perhaps a slightly more relevant subject to the challenge might have helped and possibly a little more colour on the image as it seems a little dry. Possibly increasing some of the contrast would have brought out the red of the building on the left, and the blue of the sky.

Overall, this is a great photograph that you should be proud of. You appear to have mastered landscapes and macro shots judging from your past competition entries and that alone is difficult.

Unlucky about a slightly lower than expected rating and Good Luck for any future competitions!

Like the humor in your title, rare to see a scene so bereft of humankind.

Great reflection. A movie without actors ... cool.

Too confusing. Are you saying there are no people in this shot? It's too far away to tell. And how do you delete people halfway? That would be more interesting. It's awkward to use a transitive verb with no subject (the adverb assures that this is a verb and not an adjective). I would let that slide if it got some help from the image, but it doesn't.

What a beautiful and calm place. I love the warm lighting and the reflection in the water. Although I like the calm mood in this one, I feel that there's missing a main subject that holds my attention.

spooky - where have they gone? I would like to see more colour in this - film posters have to grab attention, and I am not sure that this does.
