First of all, I'd like to thank Arti-Elvi for her patience, commitment and great company shooting this photo with me. (and the whole series! this is for an assignment for my study, more info here)
Second of all, I'd like to thank Jerry for bringing up this title. It fits perfectly!
Third of all, I'd also like to thank Renee for borrowing her shoes for this shot ;-)

I'm afraid my entry is a bit out of the box, but I really, really like the photo myself. I think the creepy atmosphere makes this photo!

This photo is shot at the huge cemetary in The Hague, called: Oud eik en Duinen. It's a great place, and every time I'm in The Hague I like to walk around and enjoy the calmness of the place.

I thought this would be a ribbon.
Great picture. Gave it a 9.

I thought this was great, I like to see these kinds of photos on this site because sometimes I feel like I should only enter photos with bright vibrant colors that specifically fit what the masses will have in mind as the general concept for the challenge. But this concept is great and well done, as someone else stated your photo for holy places had a human element present and that makes this a favorite for me!

I didn't vote but this is awesome. Clever and not at all the typical shot of a church. I applaud your originality. BRAVO

*sighhh...* I'd surfed thru', liked this a LOT, then went back and got voting. Unfortunately, I didn't get finished voting and didn't hit this one :( Sowwy, I do love it!

I still like this one. Not just because I was there too, but it's quite an original photo for this challenge. I've taken a look at the submissions for this challenge yesterday and this one was quite remarkable. I guess some people found it too much out of the box, but you know I like photos which are out of the box ;)

I wish it got a higher score, you certainly would deserve it for this one! Not only for the photo, but also for your guts. On the other hand, it's most important what you think about it and I know you're satisfied about this one. And you should be ;)

This one tells a story and that's why I like it so much. Well done girl! And you're welcome. It was fun that day!

Loved this show, and I could see this as an add for it. Great washed out tones really make this image have the feeling I got when watching this program. I'm also really liking your composition, and DOF. Well done, bumping up.

It seems the focus of this picture is not a Holy Place, but rather a picture of feet that happened to be standing in a Holy Place. I wouldn't have even known it was a Holy Place (I'm assuming a cemetery) if it wasn't for the title.

There's a mild problem of anatomy here. Ther positioning of the legs suggests that the model is standing straight up, but if that was the case, her arms would need to be about 5 feet long. It's a great shot, and great composition, but I just can't get my head around the physical impossibility of it.
As it is, I'll give you an 8, but it would be a 10 if it didn't look so awkward.

As it is, I'll give y

Wicked point of view. It looks so normal, but the hand so far down with the handbag in relation to the feet is pretty insane. Cool stuff. 8

Is this referring to the television show (I've never seen it). It's certainly different and unusual. Not a bad photograph, I might have left out the purse.

Interesting illustrative feat....... excellent shock impact of attractive, sexy feet set against holy graveyard stones - buckle/straps/fishnets are beautifully desaturated. Purse...... a bit dark, but makes cents.

Interesting. It's quite subtle and perhaps too much so for DPC. I get the holy place connection, but wonder about the subject of the picture which is fishnet stockings. What is she doing? It's both intriguing, but also perhaps a bit too OOTB. I'm gonna give it a 6. Mostly for your guts and I'm also sure you are going to get quite a few lowball scores. The drab colors work in this shot.

I like the shot, but it's hard to make out that this is a cemetary.
