Mom called me this afternoon and said, "Jimmy come quick and bring your camera!" Well, this is not the first time I've received that sort of phone call... LOL However, this time it was really pretty cool. A praying mantis egg sac had hatched in Mom's garden and there were babies EVERYWHERE! I did my best to capture the little buggers, but man were they tiny!

PP included:
straighten horizon, crop, lighting/exposure, color sat, Neat Image, curves, change hue, contrast, save for Web.

LOVE the toning in this image, gave it a 9. Would have given it a 10 if you had ripped off that leaf that is up towards the top and is pointing this way and is out of focus, it´s just too irritatingly out of focus and out of place for my taste.

Cool beans! I like this. What a brilliant way to use a duotone!

It would even be cooler IMHO with a two-tone border to match the highlights and shadows.

I love the look on the face of the mantis in the top left.

I might have given a bit different title: It's an Uphill Climb to the Top, But for What?

It's not necessarily something that would have helped the pic in any way, I just thought it might tie in the top guy.

I like it, so I'm going to exercise my right to give it a 10!

I really like all the climbing insects... meets the challenge well...... Making the plant a brighter color might have improved the 'pop' factor
