Quote by Albert Einstein. This is my first submission here at DPChallenge so I hope I won't fare too badly.

The picture was taken during sunrise at Bondi Beach here in Sydney. I got there a little late to capture the first break of light and the skies didn't look to good as it was very cloudy. I waited on and hoped for the best. I repositioned myself further up away and as I saw the waves coming in I quickly snapped this picture and ran away with my camera and tripod as that one wave was very strong. Risked getting my equipment damage for this one shot but I must say it was well worth it :)

The exposure is good. Like the movement of the water. The only thing that bothers me is the rock in the bottom left corner. My eyes are drawn to it. Good luck.
05/09/2006 03:03:14 PM
Very good and colourful shot!
05/09/2006 01:39:12 PM
Lovely radial effect of clouds and flowing water. Nice saying too.
05/09/2006 08:56:08 AM
Really nice shot. The colors are beautiful.
05/08/2006 11:10:38 PM
This is s nicely done photograph. Nice Horizon, nice use of long exposure to handle the smooth flow of water. Its nicely saturated and yet not blowen out. Near perfect exposure I'd say. This is an 8 from me. Well done.

05/07/2006 05:22:05 AM
Hmm maybe I have been working in Photoshop too much lately, the sky doesn't match. Nice overall look though, and like the motion in the water.
05/07/2006 03:03:59 AM
Love the movement
05/06/2006 10:48:51 PM
That's a beautiful shot
05/06/2006 06:32:30 PM
Good shot, the sky should get an ND filter to make the colors and tones of clouds more visible. Good!
05/06/2006 12:46:05 AM
very nice photograph - so well done - my highest score to date
05/05/2006 04:19:05 AM
Fantastic shot. The colours of the rocks, the sea and that deep sky are great.

Very dramatic image an good use of slow shutter speed.

I hope this doesn't suffer at the hands of the 'I don't understand this saying' crowd, or the 'tilted horozon' crowd for that matter :-)
05/04/2006 10:19:05 AM
Beautiful photo
05/04/2006 10:14:03 AM
I've never heard this expression before but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because it's such a lovely shot.
05/03/2006 11:30:25 PM
Grate shot!
05/03/2006 11:04:56 PM
i like the nearly abstractness of this
05/03/2006 07:16:44 PM
Wow, amazing perspective on this photo. Just unbelievable depth of field and the motion blur on the water is perfect and sort of matches the clouds. What a pretty spot and perfect image. 10.
05/03/2006 06:31:52 PM
Despite a slightly crooked horizon, this is a fantastic shot with an excellent sky and foreground, as well as a great use of long exposure. Very nicely done.
05/03/2006 06:12:29 PM
Beautiful! Horizon looks slightly tilted.
05/03/2006 06:03:57 PM
Amazingimage -just beautiful.
05/03/2006 02:41:47 PM
Wonderful landscape shot.
05/03/2006 01:06:33 PM
This is beautiful.... God's painting..Love the way I can follow this from the sky down.. For me anyway... You have an 9 from me..
05/03/2006 10:40:33 AM
OMG! This is gorgeous! I love it! Blue for sure!
05/03/2006 10:19:42 AM
Good sense of movement in this one. Both in the clouds and the water. The balance of that movement helps you to get away with the otherwise frowned upon 50/50 split...

Great job!
05/03/2006 07:59:07 AM
The movement and feeling, in this seascape is really special.....
05/03/2006 06:23:19 AM
Beautiful shot , I'm really surprised with the soft/pastel tones , they fit well with the poetic feeling of the title.
05/03/2006 03:52:49 AM
Fantastic photo. Not sure I've hard that saying before.
05/03/2006 02:04:27 AM
I am hungry for those colours. Brilliant!
05/03/2006 01:28:02 AM
I love the colors in this shot.
