 Four hours till rollover and all I had was a flower pic :(

Asked a lady in the street to put her hand through this security grill and she was kind enough to oblige. Fluffed the shot by shooting with -2EV and ISO400 but managed a reasonable rescue effort due to shooting in RAW. It's not bright and shiny but its better than the flower shot I had.

You know, I'm not really surprised by the outcome of this challenge. Disheartened a little, but not surprised. Maybe if your bars were red or yellow and a clowns hand was sticking through. Oh well - its a great image that has depth and emotion to it. Should have placed better but glad it placed as well as it did.

my favorite of the challenge. The bars and cross pieces are extremely rhythmic. The hands add an element - kind of like the flute among drums. well done. 10

interesting concept. Might have been more appealing to the eye if the finger nails had been a vibrant color?

I really like this but I wish that it was a bit "crisper." The hand seems too soft and nothing is really sharp. I do like the DOF. -6

would have been so much better if rotated 90° clockwise, had then created the impression of imprisonment
