There is something about the colours (or lack of them) in this shot that makes it really uninteresting. (Btw such a cute cat!!) :)

Cute kitty. If you have a white balance adjustment on your camera, you might want to take a reading before shooting. Also, if you did not use a tripod, the use of one allows you to take a longer exposure without camera shake which would get a nice clear image.

A good representation - but the shot is a little drab. A little closer attention to the composition to make it a compelling shot outside of the challenge title would help. The exposure on the cat face lacks detail and the colors/contract lack definition.

Good concept but the cat is too dark and the background is a bit distracting. Keep up the good work

would have been good with more color and better composition/exposure

Little more color (the bag, the wall, something) might have really made this pop a bit more.

Tee hee. . .this is so cute!!! I used to have a favorite kitty that looked just like her! And she would have done exactly the same thing: crawl into a purse or any little cubby she could find :) Great photo for this challenge.

MMmhhh... I was waiting to see one of these! Tehcnically, good composition but there seems to be a bit of a problem with the light IMO. It's a bit dull, and perhaps not the best angle to convey the story. Still, nice capture and good luck with the next challenge.

great idea but would have been better shot with a little more lighting and a bit of a cleaner image.

Clever! Seems a little dark. A different angle or crop would make a little more interesting then straight on IMHO.

lol... good take on the 'saying' and well done... having a more contrasty bg might have made this shot pop a bit more
