 Taken In Laguna Beach over the weekend. The bird landed on our hotel patio and begged for the chips we were eating. Snapped some pics of him and tossed some crackers in return.

I see some unconcentrated sadness. Last time I saw this look was when I ran out of scraps of my fish and chips and the seagulls of Inveraray became sad.

Very nice. I would have cropped from the right so that it was not quite so centered. It also needs something more to give it some "spark" but I'm not sure what.

I am guessing just hungry as these birds are never friendly. Its almost like you had him pose in a studio for you. Good shot, nice detail and the background color works well. WEll done.

With regard to composition - seems like there could be excess negative space? Good detail on the eye. I find myself wishing for a bit more texture in the feathers of the bird, but otherwise a nice job.
