where is the rest of his head?

the bird, which is the focus of your shot is a bit out of focus. the crop is a little off to me as well.

On this one the focus needs to be sharper and I think that the cut off head of the little boy was probably the wrong thing to do. It works in some cases but not on full shots like this one. Shallower dof could also improve the image by placing out of focus the legs in the background and the carraige wheels.

I think the composition, contrast, and focus could all use a few tweaks in this image. A composition with only the child, bird, and bricks perhaps?

ok this is a typical snapshot.we got there wheels from a baby carrier, cut of the head of the kid, blutty bird, and then some feets. Good luck next time but this just does not work.

focus is a little soft in this and am not too crazy about the crop

Nothing is really in focus here, and everything except the bird is chopped off. I thnk this one would have benefitted from shifting your position some and picking a spot to focus on.

Composition would be stronger if the head on the boy wasn't cut off and it wasn't such a tight crop on the right - looks slightly OOF overall. Pursuit is conveyed well here.

just the boy and the pigeon would have given this more impact.
the wheels and peoples feet just detract from the image.

great natural picture, it's a shame the little boy is cropped

There is too much empty foreground in this shot. It would also be much better if the top of the child's head wasn't chopped off.

Great idea, maybe just a little too many feet and stroller wheels that distract somewhat from the main child and bird.
