revisiting my faves...

you know what's wrong with this shot? that i didn't take it. this image is the final rendering of itself. NOBODY will ever duplicate this shot better. trying to would by like trying to remake Casablanca--why bother? this is a stunning example of getting it right the first time. i can hardly imagine a better sky, better lighting, better anything. really, what could be different that could improve on this? not a thing. i just wish it had been me that could take credit.

Could use a touch of fill light or flash on the stature to bring out the details a tad bit more and to help it contrast with the silhouette of the Statue...

how true and how we all so easily forget, both the costs and the responsibilities of freedom. Excellent.

Nice shot. Plenty of emotive fashion. The light adds a lot of weight. Simply perfect!

great perspective on this shot. The only improvement I could suggest is that in the soldiers body you can see image noise so maybe running the photo through NI or even running a gaussian blur over the image to smooth it out. But this should do well and my critque had no effect on your score.

Holy cow! ... another great image ... this is a tough challenge with many great images -This among them. Great idea - it reminds us how important the photographer's placement and decisions can be. You successfully dealt with the light also. 9
