Just played with an orange in different compositions under one light with umbrella. Blue poster board as seamless background. Tried to get two color to "pop" with one another more than anything. Minor editing.

Might have bumped it up 2 points if the peel wasn't missing...

Good composition but the light seems a little bright on the orange.

unoriginal title i dont think peeling the orange adds anything to the photo. neither does the blue border although i like the white line 6.

This is appealing. :)

Strong composition, excellent example of complementary colours. IMO it would have been even better if we could have seen some of the orange's flesh? Still, just a thought, this is a strong entry, good luck and hope you score well. 8

nice ... meets the challenge perfectly

I really like the blue background, and I think you have lit the orange well. However, the white "rind" really detracts, I think. At first I thought it was mold -- sorry. :/ Maybe a cleaner peel, or no peeling at all would make it more attractive?

I really like the photo but wish the orange were sharper in focus.

4 - Meets Challenge, just the blue... seems, too much. Hard to explain. Just my opinion anyway.

Nice colours! and great lighting, just wish there was a bit more DOF, I'd like to see the texture of the peel. Good effort

Orange could have been a little more in focus - and the pith less blown. 6

this is fantastic! hope you do well with this...it's simple and effective...wish more of the orange was in focus and it would have been a killer shot
