 Early sunlight on a beautiful flower with yellow stamens and purple petals reminded me of this challenge and in no second it was caught in my digital media.

Very basic image editing.

5 - Nice. Wish it were bigger (640 height). Given the focus is sharper on the petals, perhaps a variation in the composition/crop would have made this even better in my opinion. Colors are nice, but would like to have seen a fraction less green, but difficult. Like the 'hairs' on the petals - again, if to 'somehow' have incorporated them, and 'held onto' the colors, may have made this a stronger image for this Challenge in my opinion. Not sure on the frame.

this is a great shot, but why ahve you saved it so small? It could ahve been a top 5 in my view, but because you have only gone to 510px instead of 640px it's really hard to tell if it is really sharp...sorry

Only thing I might suggest is loose the yellow border, it's robbing this beautiful image of it's moment to shine.
