Like the shot, candid for sure, maybe even more if he hadn't been looking at you. The main subject is definitely separated from the background, good work on the exposure on this image. I know you can't clone in basic, but the spots on the wall in the left do distract somewhat.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

It's a good shot of a man with lots of character to the face, and very good detail and tones. The only unfortunate part is he is looking directly at the camera and sees the shot coming. This takes away from any candid emotion the photo might have had. Still a good 6 vote from me though.
