 This is my second entry for the Future challenge. I pulled my first and submitted this one instead. This one is much more colorful than the first, and after Willy Wonka, who doesn't want an Everlasting Gobstopper?
Two photos were used... A shot of Josh watching TV in February 2003, and a marble. There is basically nothing left of the original marble, other than the round shape. I used Photoshop extensively to transform it into a Gobstopper. I also created the 'counter top' and 'background' in Photoshop. I enjoy working in Photoshop, so I really took advantage of the no editing restrictions for this challenge. The techniques I used to create this shot were inspired by "Photoshop Most Wanted Effects and Design Tips" by Al Ward and Colin Smith. Great book... I did enough of my own thing to carry their technique further that it is still my original work, not just copying a tutorial. I hope you enjoy this fun image!

This is super imaginative! I just stumbled on it. Nice colors and composition. I'd say definitely cleverly thought out. Very artfully graphic!

So kids will have a sweet tooth even then? Some things never change! Nice work. Lots of color and a B/W face--and I'm not sure why. Lovely composition and exquisite clarity.

Im not a Photoshop expert, but this is a wonderful shot. I loved Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory as a kid. I think it would be every kids dream to have a piece of candy that last's forever. Im really curious how you did this. Maybe you can e-mail me and let me know.

Very nice montage. Too bad JPGs don't deal too god with dots on a dark background. Love the colour vs. dark blue contrast. BTW, what is "Gobstopper" ??
