Thank you everyone for all your comments! I am pleased to finally be moving up in the ranks -- I've made quite a big score jump from my first two challenges.

A couple notes: Many of you would love the photo if not for the tremendous flare that absolutely detracts from it, makes it technically deformed, and so on and so forth. A few other guided souls, however, actually like it. They like the "neat lighting." Detractors, I gotta say, I wasn't going for the funky flare -- it was an accident -- but when it happened, I thought, Wow that looks really neat. So no it's not technically perfect but I think it's those happy accidents that really elevate a picture into something more. (In this case, "something more" means top 30%, which I'll take!)

What was I trying to do with the lightning? Well, after I saw the flare mistake, I thought it kinda looked like fog. And I thought, "Fog in the Metro. How romantic..." And that was the end of my voyeuristic experimentation! Back home for Post.

I fail to see what you were trying to do with the composition but it's still a very cool concept.

The bright glowing parts of the guys shoe are quite distracting. The sepia was a good choice - making the scene warmer than a BW would have been.

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.

Tunnel of love. This is ok, but technically it is way off. Whatever is on his shoes is blown out, and not very good focus here for me; also a bit grainy. However, it is a candid moment, as it seems. A 4 vote from me.

Good photograph, except for the massive flare
