Creative but even moreso, well composed. Your idea is intriguing but the manner in which you chose to compose it commends this picture and your skills. The red against the brown planks gives an off center point of interest and cropping both the planks on the left and bottom of the image and the top right corner so that they run off the image yields a particular feel to the image. 8

I like the composition. Try playing with b&w and maybe tinting the apples. It would give great depth to the apples. Currently the apples don't pop out enough. Maybe with a little tweaking the apples would stand out more.

This one really is a nice image. The color tones here are beautiful: muted, soft. Nicely done.

I think with only a single fruit this would be a stronger image and I'd prefer it if it were not cropped to square but continued out on right side. Nice texture and colours and choice of content.

while the nectarines add a nice color touch and texture contrast you either need a third to the right of the bottom and really are not necessary at all....did you get hungry? This would have been just fine without them a little crop in at left and right so the angle bisects the upper right and lower left corners.

I love this composition and the correct interpretation of the challenge...

Good image. Well done. I would have liked it even more if it had been cropped such the the diagonal line ended exactly at each corner.
