My favorite of this challenge - the oversharpening gives this a unique "cut-out" look. Great composition and depth. Very creative.

This really evokes the feeling of a Sunday walk down a quiet street. I'm not sure if the sky helps this shot or not, but it is interesting nonetheless. Well done.

Nice, is it the "old town" perhaps? It looks a bit over sharped - a 6.

Nice picture, not very nice candid though.

You oversharpened a bit. Look at the halos around the building lines, particularly the rooflines where they meet dark sky. This is a little distracting but easily fixable. Solid shot otherwise though.

a candid moment? two people walking away from me, where their environment dominates the scene. nothing about the people connects me with them--there is no storytelling qualities. aside from that, it is way over-sharpened.

Definetely overprocessed and lacking human focus for a good candid shot

Apart from the sky I love this shot of a Gamlastan street. Very nice b&w.

I love the contrast between the subjects in black and the other people further up wearing lighter colors. Interesting environment for the shot as well. Good job!

I'm not much for receiving or giving comments, but since Candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to give comment on every entry in this challenge.

This reminds me a bit of Bresson's photos he took in Paris. Nice dark tones, good usage of surrounding buildings, sky, etc. The only thing is, the shot has no real candid value by way of emotion or wow factor. There is nothing happening but a good overall shot of a town. People just walking down the road really tells me no story and has no kick to it "as a candid". In a b/w challenge, I would score it higher, but as a candid, I gave it a 5.

Looks like a Brassai print. I love the urgency of the woman walking. Nice composition. Great contrast too. 9
