| This is badly oversharpened. See the white fringing around his jacket? Fringing like that is an effect of too much sharpening. Also the garbled look of his hat gives it away. Not a bad shot, otherwise, but the oversharpening ruins it. |

| there's a lot of character in that face, and from what i can see of his attire, he appears to be involved in something interesting. unfortunately, the way you've composed this shot, there's not enough context to give me anything to go on. |

| voting on this candid thing is difficult. this is a great shot, without the title you can still feel the tough life of the man and it has a good candid feel, although he is looking at you his look is preoccupied by what he is doing. i'm sure you had a shot of him looking away, but chose this instead.. good luck. 8 |

| Excellent moment. Lots of jpeg artifacts but they are subdued by the eyes of the subject (not as noticible). Well captured. 7 |

I don't usually like comments or give them, but since candids are near and dear to my heart, I have decided to comment on every photo in this challenge.
In Boston, a place I have been too often, these photos could actually be taken daily. Almost too easy. This one is ok, and the man has great features, but little emotion is displayed or story told within the photo. It's a 5 vote from me. |
