Not my style, not my subject type, but I loved the car. Saw it today at a restaurant. Glad I had my camera. I know - coupla hot spots and I cut off the bottom of the chrome light cover. Hindsight and all...

Excellent use of natural (I'm assuming) light, great focus. Love the clarity, the color contrasts are wonderful and nicely captured. Fits the challenge. I'm not much of a car person but the different curves and colors and flow of the image does draw me in, as well as the contrast of the shiny metal and headlight. Looks as if you can see if not you, someone in the headlight. I'm not so sure it distracts from the image though. The composition is good, but I held a hand up to block out that tire and I found the power to be much greater when cropped right before that tire starts. I think the extra metallic color distracts but more importantly it lessens the impact of the grill and headlight's coloring. 6

I like the bold hues of the yellows that are painted flames on this old classic car. The blues are a rich and deep color that really complements the yellows. I like how you composed the image but I think that you could have angled it slightly to add some dimension and interest to it. To add a little bit of visual interest and create the illusion of speed, you could have composed this such that the headlight is angled at a 45 degree angle to the lower right hand corner. This would add the illusion of motion by making us believe the car is racing away down past us not to mention it would angle those 'flames' that it would appear that they are racing away from the headlights/grille. Not to mention a slight change in angle orientation can add more visual interest rather than a straight on level shot.

I like the idea, the leading lines and crop, but the contrast is a little overdone to my eye though.
