they would say, "There are trees growing between us." Sorry, couldn't resist. A nice picture, and very interesting subject matter. I think saturating the colors and adding a little contrast, if you can, would really make a big difference in this picture.

wonderful subject, great pic

Excellent Photo, This is one of my top 2 photos for this challenge. Great angle,
07/19/2002 04:34:00 AM
Poor lighting, compositionally it would be better looking from angle which will show more of the walls.
07/18/2002 12:46:00 PM
Nice shoot. :)
07/18/2002 08:11:00 AM
interesting composition of verticals
07/17/2002 11:06:00 PM
A little overexposed, and not really sharp. Perhaps corping in more would have been helpful.
07/17/2002 06:26:00 PM
Excellent subject

excellent capture...

very interesting shot :) I would have possibly tried to increase the camera angle a bit on this one to remove a little of the grass in the foreground... this would bring the building slightly lower in the frame.. good shot! = 7 - jmsetzler

07/17/2002 03:26:00 AM
that's a powerful image, and a powerful name. even without the name this brings on very interesting ideas.

Good subject ... Something's not quite right though... It appears a little out of focus ... Maybe you could have gotten physically closer to your subject ... 7 ... RLS

They would say. What the fu... are these trees doing here!! (arnit)
07/16/2002 11:09:00 AM
nice shot - did you see what this looks like in b/w? just wondering how it would be - still get's a 10 from me :)

As someone who studied archaeology, I like shots like this. But those trees are extremely distracting. Maybe a different angle would have made them less obvious.
07/16/2002 06:22:00 AM
This is awesome
07/15/2002 11:47:00 PM

What a find! I love seeing images like this. Hints at a history!
07/15/2002 08:33:00 PM
Like this photo very much.
07/15/2002 04:12:00 PM
a rather dull and out of focus shot, technically lacking, but well intended, and quite meaningful. I wish you could be more specific or something in the title tho
07/15/2002 03:34:00 PM
Really cool subject. Well composed/executed shot, but maybe a TAD dark (grass seems too dark, low contrast) 9 Swash
07/15/2002 02:48:00 PM
Where is this? No leaves on the trees.
07/15/2002 02:47:00 PM
Wonderful title! lol Love it. Kee
07/15/2002 01:13:00 PM
Great picture.
07/15/2002 12:45:00 PM
Theres some compression effects in the sky, and I think they've blurred the fine ends of the branches too.
07/15/2002 11:21:00 AM
Cool subject. I would have shot from a different angle so we could see more of the 2 walls. More zoom would have looked better too I think... the entire tree doesn't need to be in the photo.
07/15/2002 11:10:00 AM
I can only wonder what they would say
07/15/2002 08:17:00 AM
This photograph tells stories. Very nicely done.
07/15/2002 01:41:00 AM
"Tree sandwich"
