Just a follow up on how I took this shot. Nothing special really. No flash involved. Just put camera on a tripod focused at the balls using a 1 second exposure, the lighting is coming from an overhead can light in the ceiling. Just set the camera timer, and went to the other end of the table and hit the cue ball really slowly once the timer went off.
I probably should have done some work in photoshop on the picture, but all I did was resize to 640 wide and submit it. |

Very nice shot. Looks like maybe the light balance is off a little.

| Nice idea and execution of flash / exposure shot. Consider bumping up both contrast and saturation to compensate for loss due to motion/partial exposure. |
