more zooming in or a smaller aperture size should have made a good DOF for this photograph! Believe me, a greater DOF should have pushed up this image to the top 20's because the carved stone and old rainy water(source=rain perhaps lol) is like a calm symbol here which is very good for showing off "in the garden" theme!

the dof in this is wrong i think. it just looks slightly blurred which is hard to look at. i think you should either have made it much shallower, or wider.

I think the problem here is that you didn't wait for the birdie! It would have made the shot if one came in to land on the birdbath. Crisp and clear shot otherwise.

Neat birdbath.. I would have taken a shot at a different angle, the cedar to right. to me, is distracting from the nice bird bath.

Nice background. I maybe would have shot this so the pavement (sidewalk?) couldn't be seen. The textured birdbath is nice.
