Grayce's colors were a lot better...think the detail was as well. Did not know what to use for a bacground and ended up use some gold tissue paper which may be a bit distracting in areas. I did the frame as best I could, not a fan of them but it works for this, I think.

Post: Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/Contrast and hue saturation. Nik Color Efex Pro Brilliance/Warmth (both 70%) for more saturation. I sure there was some clean up of hot pixels. NeatImage (I think...not sure). Sharpen. Resize. Sharpen. Frame.

not sure about the background...it should have been black ir a solid colour...it's just too busy 5

I like the fact that you took the opposite view from the original. The background is a bit distracting though.
