| I really like the tones and contrast of this photo. I like the composition as well, but am curious as to why you chose to put more space behind the bench as opposed to in front of it. Very, very nice! |

yer colors gladden me eyes, but yer composition bothers me...
methinks photo would've worked better if the subject was off-centered and the focus was sharper...

| I've been there :-) Wonderful composition and colours are excellent, I like the balance and how you caught both stillness; the empty street on the left, and movement; the car that is about to drive away (exhaustion fumes) on the left. Then there is the woman waiting in the middle, about to leave, and the guy on the poster, wanting to play . An absolute fave, well done. |

Sometimes you see an image and get an immediate and lasting impression from it. Perhaps it is because it is so unexpected, or maybe it is because it makes real life seem surrealistic. This image does that and more. It conjures up all sorts of questions: Why is the woman seated that way? What is she thinking? Why is she the only one there and what does that mean?
The muted colors and dark tones are great. I'd suggest improvments but can't think of any. This is a fabulous image and should place very high in the challenge. |
