 This book came to mind when out shooting the Mississippi River in St. Paul around midnight on a dangerously foggy night. Hope you like it.

Shot in RAW: Temp 2850, Tint 0, Exp +0.65, Shadow 7, Brightness 73, Contrast 63, Sat 0.
Opened in PSCS, Applied USM, added sat to blue and green, reduced to 640x427, added layer with mode set to darken and applied USM. Flattened image, saved for web.

I know everyone loves these shadow shots but othis one upsets my eye for some reason. It is all in all a great shot..just the shadow grabs me wrong.

This comes off a bit flat. It would be a bit more intersting if there was something to add some depth. The horizon is also tilted.

I was so stunned when this one opened up. It is so clear and reflective. I love the lighting. If anything, I dislike that building that looks something like a warehouse or a plant. But otherwise beautiful.

Your horizon seems quite tilted - looks to need about a 5 degree clockwise rotation.

Nice shot :) The bridge and its relection frame the lights and warehouse? well and the blue lights add to the interest.
