Used manual camera setting. Set white balance using camera sensor. Used two flashlights to the right, and used a 100 watt bulb in front, facing a mirror and covered with a white cloth to diffuse the light. Post processing included cropping and adjustment to brightness and contrast, changing skin tone to pale, and changing color balance to teal. Also used paintbrush to clone out a furnace cord which showed in the background. Dodged the hair to make it more noticable, and also dodged the details of the dress where the highlights fell. Extracted face and hands, then adjusted brightness and contrast again to make it lighter. Dodged the hands. Saved at 125 dpi then resized to fit challenge. Refocused and sharpened a bit more around the hands, the eyes and hair. Also blurred some of the details of the face to make a little less severe.

Lighting on the skull is good but lighting on Lady Macbeth's face and hands is flat.

Love your idea and set-up, but it lacks some basic post processing. I just tried it with just a simple auto-curves and it made such a big difference !! Good luck, anyway!

Very powerful image. You managed to make this look so realistic. Good luck! This should do well.

man, i would have loved to see this with more contrast, the blacks are so muted and washed out that this image is all but lost, barely hanging on to a 7

Nice imagery. However I wouldn't have her look so psychotic. After all it was a slow process her going crazy and she was a noble woman. By the way what kind of skull is that? Like the choice for this challenge.
