| Despite what the writing in the spiral says, I think this is a great photo... or was this the result of that work? ;-) Very good, nice positioning. I almost wish the pen were in complete focus all the way through, but then it wouldn't look as good. I like it :-D |

This is not bad
I like it. But maybe you shouldnt have chosen 'learn to take better photos' because it is like a goal. Something that a child would have perhaps wrote in class like 'i will not cheat' or something would have perhaps portrayed the sense of education. But it's a nice picture in itself |

| awesome photo. there are many picture of books, apples, glasses and paper/pens. for one to get a high score i think they really need to stand out and i think that this one does. many of the others have no depth. i dont think this one is original enough to be a top ten photo but it should easily be a high scorer 8 |

| Good exposure and use of DOF, even if it does seem a bit cliche and unoriginal. |
