 I didn't realize how time consuming this image would be to create. Cutting out all that paper was borish. The final image is alright, I was in a hurry and didn\'t have time to be in a studio, so the lighting is less than par. Very little editing, levels and curves only. And the leaf?, its off of a pansy.

WOW. thank you everyone for such great comments. And as you can see in my details before the challenge started, I was aware of the poor lighting and I wish that I had had the time to get a better apple, but all in all I am appreciative to finish 13th, with a last minute submittion.

I love this shot. One of my favorites. I think its amazing how you got the paper to actually look like its actually part of the apple. The lighting looks good and the focus of great.

Really great idea! I love this composition idea - it is amazing. The lighting coming in on an angle was a great idea too - but it is not quite right. The background texture is a little distracting to me as well. BUT, it is the best idea I have seen yet - great story!

This looks like it was a very good idea. I found it difficult to figure out. Maybe it needed more light or a different angle.

Excellent idea but i feel you could have made the lighting much better, polished up the apple a bit and maybe composed the shot a little better - nice work though
