 I saw this while I was walking and liked the pattern and details.

Editing:
Copied BG to new layer, set to multiply, guassian blur at about 12, hue/sat layer - up master21,red30,yellow11, levels layer - right slider left. USM BG layer @150,1.7,0

Flatten, resize, sharpen@45,.5,0 ... save for web.

Hmm, should have blurred on a separate layer and then masked or erased it on the stem maybe....

I really like your composition here but as has been said already the main stem should be in sharp focus, as it was advanced editing I'm thinking the gaussian blur isn't the reason for the lack of sharpness?

This has a softness. I like the microscopic detail. It's very intriguing. You want to study every inch of that dead leaf. Nicely done and not the usual. I'm bumping it up from my original score.
