Greetings from the Critique Club...
This image doesn't seem to hold any photographic impact. It meets the challenge by showing newspaper headlines from the 80's but it doesn't offer the viewer any inspiration within the realm of photography. Meeting the challenge is an interesting concept on this site. Meeting the challenge in a strong way doesn't always give you a higher score unless it is accompanied by a photo that has visual impact. On the other hand, not meeting the challenge with a photo that does have nice visual impact won't give you a high score either :) |

| A bit of a bland shot. Certainly tells a lot about the 80's. Maybe if you had focused on one headline and added more elements relating to it to the photo it would have a greater imapct. |

| interesting idea. seems a bit sterile, perhaps that was what you were going for. cropping out the headline on one of 1/6 of what you considered important seems odd. The second article making reference to 2004 takes me away from the period. White balance seems unconsidered. I know I have 2 much time on my hands, sorry for being so critical. |

| A pretty straight-forward image. Its simple which I like, and each of the headlines brings an spot of interest to the photo. I think if there had been something different done with the lighting, either to create some unusual shadows or to add a different dimension of contrast, I'd have found the image that much more interesting. I gave a 4. |

| Can't really deny it meets the challenge, however it just isn't the most exciting of images to look at. |
