I gave this one a 9, and it was one of my favs in the challenge. Simple and literal for the challenge...maybe too simple. Keep up the good work

one of my absolute favorites in this challenge too bad it didn't do better

This was my first entry into a challenge, although I've been a member for a number of months. I had to hang these new blinds on Sunday (due to my Siberian Husky still being in her chewing stage) and just couldn't pass up the perfect contrast presented in light of the current challenge. I fear the simplicity of the shot didn't 'speak' to people, leading to the low score, but I am pretty happy with it.

I really like this shot and wish it would have done better. It's good to know that some folks are pushing the boundaries of photography; this shot is a good example. Nice work!

Nice abstract. The gradual minimalizing of the shapes keeps the image engaging. 9

If this had been straightened it would be near perfect. The other thing would be to increase DOF so that the whole shot is in focus - alternatively one end (left) rather than the middle. [7]

Love the simplicity of this shot, it almost appears to be in 3D.

Thank you for reminding me that I need to fabricate a Luver attatchment for my Soft box.

I love the contrast here as well as the texture on the fabric. The perspective work really well too. Great Job!

I think this will be an example of an excellent photograph, which does not do too well in the challenge. Either way, its great. 9
