Just a great shot - and the contrast for me is in the opposition of gravity. It's beautifully composed, well captured and really desrves a ribbon, but I wonder if people will assume that it is a bit off-brief. [10]

Wow, the skin on the athlete looks almost like black leather or velvet or something... it REALLY gives great contrast against the sky. Too bad you couldn't lighten the sky a little to make it stand out even more. The white shirt is spectacular. This one has got to be in the top 5. Perfect focus... 9!

Well, i am not completely sure what the contrast is per se(except b&w which was not how i understood the challenge but) , I can 't argue with the fact the this is a fabulous capture. It is clear your timing was perfect. I love the lower hand as it is still reaching, and the positioning of the legs. If I had a real request it would be to have seen more of his face, though I suspect the lighting impeded it? just a thought, very nice shot congrats
