I am very excited about this photo. THANKS TO ALL!!! I appreciate all of the comments.
Brief notes about the photo:
Plastic covers to small containers
Clear Candle Gel Wax - dyed to the primary colors - red, blue, yellow
At first, my objective was to display the creation of additional colors with the primary colors through transparency using gel wax and light. - This took three separate days because of my lack of knowledge of using the white-balance of my camera. Many of the first photos came out very yellow and/or greyish instead of white. On the third try, I used another (new to me) setting for the white balance and learned how to use it.
Setting up sturdyboard and two living-room floor lamps (less the shades) and the sticky gel wax was fun and at the same time frustrating - my cats knocked over the sturdyboard onto the plastic covers and the wax stuck to the boards - I should've taken a photo of my setup for the Bloopers page!
The final photo was obtained through a little cropping - Thank you very much to those who helped out in the Cropping thread, it really really made a difference for me - and a small global hue adjustment, a touch of contrast and gamma adjustment. The only reason I changed the hue was because the original colors didn't seem to stand out as much.
I had a very hard time choosing which one to enter - I had to have a couple of friends and family members pick it out, then we had to name it. moppenheimer commented: pitry dish explosion - I like that one.

Thank you again! I've been enjoying this site very much and have learned a great deal from the people here!!

Congrats to the winners this week and to everyone for a job well done!!!!
