After reading some of the other comments, I have to say...I think the tones and darkness make the image what it is. I wouldn't change a thing.

It took my eyes a moment to recognize the cowboy hat. For me, had there been a bit more light and definition along the brim, I would have scored it better.

Bold entry and risky composition for the DPC folks. This may get a ding or two just because of the wide selection of monitors and calabrations available to view this. I like it!
