It always seems odd to me that everything disappears from the fields during winter except the wheel lines. These giant tubes of water traverse the length of the fields and turn this land that was once desert into lush green crops. Without water this land would soon go back to huge expanses of scrub and sagebrush.

wonderful, wonderful photo! great in b&w. the circles are almost hypnotising;) I wonder how it would look like from a higher point: a helicopter, for example? or a small tower. those lins and circles on the fields might look cool from above. I guess I should finally start flying there, too to see it ;)

I love this one. It just calls out to me. The repetition of the circles and the b/w make it special.

A little too much sharpening maybe.

Very nice composition and use of deep DOF.The perspective is fantastic. The only thing missing, IMO, is the blank top right corner. 9

Lovely perspective. Such strength in it's simplicity.

Interesting lines and shapes. Love the composition. 2 things that marr its potential:
- the tones seems a little blown out over the hills and contrast is not very sharp
- the inner border is really a killer. I would have just kept only the outer black frame

Great shot, save the horizon tilt, and smallness of the submitted image...

Apparent oversharpening and tilted horizon detract from this fine composition. The details keep me looking.
