 I was walking down the street last Saturday and I was pretty beat but I spotted some broken glass on the brick sidewalk up the street. I was just too plumb tuckered to shoot it then, so I went home. Then I thought....Hmmm.....So the next day when I walked home I gathered up some of the glass in some paper towells and bought it home. I put the glass in a bowl and washed it and then put it into a $store drinking glass of water in front of the window. Shot it 3 or 4 times over the next few days. On most of the shots used ambient light with camera white balance set on tungsten giving blue hues ont he glass. On one occasion I shot at night with using only a table lamp by the window for light. I set the white balance on cloudy and the color in this was the result. The camera was tripod mounted and had the camera in macro mode with a 10X close up filter.

Post: Layer adjusments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturaiton.USM. Cropped twice. Resize. USM.

Very nicely done and I do like the colouring. I find it perhaps a little too abstracted but am impressed by it as a piece of wall art
