Very nice! The harsh shadows work very well here and so does the soft effect. Gives the mood of a very calm and lazy afternoon. I would just crop out the top lines to make it cleaner.

Wow. You've violated all sorts of "rules" and it's wonderful. I'm an odd duck in that I really do like shadows, and harsh ones at that. They're out there every day, those pesky shadows, so why should we ban them? Very nice!!
