***** had to participate! *****

It was raining. :( Grabbed a large umbrella and tied it to the fence. Because of the horses milling around I had to put the tripod and camera on the other side of the fence! Set the timer, jump the fence, press the shutter release thru the fence, run to location and stand still for 30 seconds. Repeat 11 times total to get a shot I liked. ...and yes, I did some MAJOR chimping on this one! ;^)

I can not believe some of the shots that placed higher than your. This shot should have been in the top three. I am sad to say that a lot of people on the site overlook quality work and this is quality.

I love the thought that has went in to the positioning.
My only critisism is that there are two buckets in the background and they seem to stick out.
good luck

I don't feel like the shadow adds anything here. The lens flare is actually bothersome (usually I like it. And the lines are all just crooked enough to annoy. But I like the lighting and the subject.

You know the saying "The devil's in the details"? That's what this is too me - some "if onlys". If only that red bucket wasn't there to distract attention. If only that whatever it is wasn't bisecting the head. Plus, you should consider cropping a lot off the left as it does nothing for the image. I know it sounds like I don't like this image, but actually I do. If only... 6

Reminds me of an old film noir movie. Way cool.
