My wife blew the bubbles then I poked the coin into the bubble (the bubbles never seemed to want to land directly on the coin). Then took the shot as quickly as I could. The bubbles never lasted more than a few seconds on the table top, so I had to hurry. We got in about 30 shots, this was the best (we thought) of them.
I was surprised that the shadow of the bubbles ended up being more pronounced than the bubble, but look closely at the table under the bubble, it created trace shadows on the mock wood.

I like bubbles.

Good clarity! I tried a bubble shot, and had a hell of a time getting anything to focus. I think the top is cropped a bit tightly, and I might prefer a background that has a little more contrast in color to the coin, but other than that, this is a very nice shot, good job!

how'd you manipulate the bubble to the desired size?

i like the sun-flare reflection on the right.

Neat shot :) I'm not sure If I like the framing and the position of the coin, but the effect is very nice :) = 7 - jmsetzler

A great staged photo.

Very Nice. How long did it take you to get the coin in the bubble?

Odd idea, but nicely done. The glare of the sun is a bit distracting, try getting rid of it.

An interesting idea. Very good exposure and focus. However, I do think that the background takes away from the impact. It might look better on a solid contrasting color.

Love how you caught that little star of light and rainbow there.

Neat idea, but I feel it would have been better executed if the background would have been less busy. This would have shown the structure of the bubble more and not have been so distracting.

Nice idea. I think it would score better with a different background and with the coin facing straight up and down.
