Nice shot. Too bad some people don't think about how international this site is and make poor assumptions. I really like this shot. Those critters can cause some chaos, I've been told!

Awww, look at his little hands and cute crooked teeth! Monkeys are so cool. The lighting is wonderful and you did a great job with all the detail.
Top score.

It's come on the web as being a little too dark so the lovely subtle skin and fur textures are difficult to see well.

More saturation would work wonders for this picture, but it's compelling as it is. Great job.

Nice tight composition. It's a rather minor detail but I like the blurred leaf in the foreground, seems to give more depth to the photo. The focus seems a little soft on the monkey.

Great subject, composition and meets the challenge I think. Looks a bit dark on my monitor unfortunately but good luck, I think you should score high.

If possible a flash unit would have added some more highlight to the Monkeys eyes.

Awesome capture! I love everything about this photo. DOF, low saturation and all.

Given the spirit of the challenge was to capture a shot of wildlife in its natural environment, I find it most difficult to believe that this was done with your entry. Needless to say my vote on this was very low given those circumstances. When a photo does not do its best in composition to depict actual challenge guidelines, my stadegy for voting immediately stops and it becomes a DNMC to me.

Is that Gollum? Great image with good capture of the exression in his eyes.

Nice light and shade - I like how his face is in the light, with lovely catchlights in his eyes, but that overall he's in the shade.
