| Nice shot, but a stretch to fit the theme. Technically, any photograph is taken through the transparent atmosphere. It's not totally off topic since it is refraction off the dust in the atmosphere that creates the strong colors of a sunset, but I don't think it fully meets the spirit of the challenge either. |

| beautiful photo! i also think it's not too bad as "transparency". i see how the photo was taken to really try to show transparent atmosphere and not only a sunset. |

It's a fine picture but I think it's lacking the transparency. Fine use af the rule of thirds. (5)

| While the atmosphere is certainly transparent I rated this image down because by that logic all photos would fit the challenge. |

| Beautiful capture of a sunset. Very bad picture for this challenge. I could have taken a picture of anything and said "transparent air". You are gonna have to try harder than this for me to give you a better grade. |

| Very sharp shot...but... transparency is the topic and this photo doesn't even begin to be on topic. Although I do think you did an excellent job with the contrast and and depth of field as well as the overall composition of the shot. In another topic or just in general i would give it a 6.75 to a 7 but in all fairness to those who put the effort into the challenge I had to score it a 2. Good job though. |

| This is a beautiful sunset... if this was a sunset challenge, I would be voting high. Without your title, this photo doesn't say 'transparency' to me at all. = 3 - jmsetzler |
