I couldn't tell what the blur was until checking the results. Maybe a bit more of the dog's head in the picture would've made it obvious. Makes sense now, and I would've rated it a bit higher.

Thanks to everyone who responded! It was a mixed bag -- some liked the blurred dog, though I believe most did not. I should have cropped the bubble out, alone.

I like this picture but I feel like the blurred image could have been cropped from the bottom. Plus there seems to be some noise. A run through Neat Image could help fix this.

Perhaps a faster shutter would have solidified the dog and made it more a part of the scene rather than a distraction. I like the idea.

nice capture, looks a little pixellated though, is this a resized crop maybe? digital cameras still aren't quite up to the enlarging you can get away with on film.

crop it, get rid of what ever the bottom giht is and the flowers distract as well, otherwise very fine

Did the dog bite the bubble? I love the colors and reflection in the bubble, VERY nice! But it seems a little pixelated at the bottom...I wonder why? The rest is so very clear! 9 Rob the Swash

I would like to see the background blurier but I can see the impending loss of the photo with the rising teeth at the bottom of the image.
